You'll know you've arrived at the Hollywood Wax Museum as you drive into the parking lot where the front of the building is covered with a replica of Mount Rushmore that's over 115 feet long and 50 feet high. However, the faces have been changed to John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin and Elvis Presley. It's quite a sight.

With 170 life-like figures, your visit starts out with the Wizard of Oz, and then you go through the classics, but you also have current thrillers and horror films, along with famous television celebrities. It's a wide range of likenesses, like Burt Reynolds, Jackie Gleason, Mel Gibson, Jodie Foster, James Garner, Charlie Chaplin, Reba McIntire, Russell Crowe, a grouping of U.S. Presidents, Cher, Patrick Swayze, Joe Montana, Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, Laverne & Shirley, Fonzie, Bill Cosby, Lara Croft and many more.

If you have little ones with you, be aware that there is a Monster Chamber, with characters like Jason and Michael and Freddy Krueger, that adults, especially horror film buffs, will enjoy much more than the kids.
