Stone Hill Winery

Stone Hill WineryOne of Branson's best-liked tourist attractions, the Stone Hill Winery provides visitors a free, fun-filled tour that includes seeing the winemaking and bottling process first-hand and tasting the winery's unique, award-winning wines.

Founded in Hermann, Missouri, in 1847, Stone Hill Winery prior to Prohibition was America's second-largest winery. Since its rebirth in 1965, the winery has regained international fame. It has won more than 3,060 awards since 1993.

The Branson tastings include wines ranging from the Stone Hill's famed dry red Norton to its fruity Pink Catawba and Concord wines, as well as its popular non-alcoholic Concord Grape, Sparkling Grape, Sparkling Raspberry, and Sparkling Catawba juices.

Tours run every 15 minutes from 8:30 a.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 11 a.m. on Sundays. It's a great chance to see and learn about a premier American winery, and it's all free.

Stone Hill Winery is located at the junction of Highway 165 and Green Mountain Drive (just two blocks south of Business 76).
