It's Big Cedar Lodge's 14th annual celebration of wine and food! This year's featured vintner is Columbia Winery of Woodinville, Washington.
The first day of the event is the Welcome Reception and Silent Auction from 7-9 pm (cost is $90). This year's theme for the Welcome Reception, held in the Worman House, is a street market. The room will be set up like a farmer's market with stalls for each food station.
The second day includes the Culinary Demonstration from 10-10:50 am (complimentary for lodge guests), the Wine Tasting from 11 am-noon (cost is $25), the Wine Seminar for the Enthusiast from 2:15-4 pm (cost is $40), and ending with the Wine Lovers Reception and Dinner from 6-10 pm (cost is $155).
Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Missouri State University's hospitality and restaurant program.

The National Ice Carving Association is having another ice-carving contest January 19, 2008. The event will have awards and $4000 in prize money. It takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the outdoor entertainment center at The Titanic Museum Attraction. The Titanic is located at Highway 76 and Gretna Road, Branson, Missouri. Spectators can watch for free.

Admission is FREE to watch The National Ice Carving Association's ice-carving contest January 19, 2008. The event features ice carvers from around the world competing for awards and $7500 in prize money.
It takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the outdoor entertainment center at The Titanic Museum, located at Highway 76 and Gretna Road, Branson, Missouri.
