The Branson Parks & Rec Department is offering a day at the pool - FREE for everyone! Keep in mind that it's first-come, first-serve and the Branson AquaPlex does have a maximum person occupancy. (hot tip: this FREE event happens on a Thursday and the pool opens at noon, and closes at 7 pm) Bring money if you want to purchase snacks or drinks; otherwise all you need is your swimsuit and a towel! One more thing, admission is FREE - but you must also bring 2 non-perishable items to donate.

The American Coaster Enthusiasts annual convention is at Silver Dollar City for some coaster-riding fun! Members will enjoy some exclusive ride-time in the early morning and late evening when the park is closed to the general public.
American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE) has been around since 1978 and has nearly 7,000 members from all over the world.
After Silver Dollar City, the convention moves to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri.

Tracker Marine and The Titanic are teaming up to show Dad some new boats, including top-selling aluminum fising boats, Sun Tracker Pontoon Boats, Nitro Bass Boats and Tahoe Sports Boats.
Tracker Marine is celebrating 30 years of building boats in the Ozarks, and The Titanic is celebrating 4 years of honoring those who built and sailed the biggest boat of them all, The Titanic.

Table Rock Dam - June 1959 to June 2009
On Sunday, June 14 the Springfield National Guard Band performs at the Table Rock Dam Overlook at 2:15 pm. This is followed by the Anniversary Celebration at 2:45 pm. Entertainment by the Missouri Boatride Bluegrass Band and refreshments served at the Dewey Short Visitors Center (located 6 miles west of US Hwy 65 on State Hwy 165 at the south end of Table Rock Dam). You can also visit with some folks who were a part of the building of the Dam.

June 6th marks the beginning of one of the nation's best celebrations for the kids - the National Kids Fest. Running through August 9th, Kids Fest features Silver Dollar City's two dozen themed rides offering thrills for the whole family! There's high-speed roller coasters and mega-splashing water rides, and even an area with smaller rides for smaller kids. Open Daily. Festival highlights include:
- New this year: The Swedish group JEERK makes its first U.S. appearance. It's five performers using their percussion skills, rhythmic body movements and an array of novelty props to drum, dance and crash in a super-stomping, rhythm and dance show.
- Back by popular demand, experience The Magic of Peter Gossamer - with tricks, levitations, vanishings and comedy from the master illusionist
- The Veggie Tales stage show, The Invention of Silliness - it's America's favorite talking vegetables in a musical adventure created exclusively for Silver Dollar City
- Kid Concoctions Activity Center - where kids can make their own creations!
- Moonlight Madness - for nighttime fun at Silver Dollar City from July 27 through August 9. During Moonlight Madness, rides will be open till 10 pm!

6th Annual Branson Vietnam Veterans Benefit Show is at the Hamner Barber Theatre, 3090 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway at 7 pm.
This event is sponsored by Branson Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 913. Proceeds from the benefit will be used to assist Southwest Missouri military personnel and their families.
The entertainment line-up features the Hamner Barber Variety Show, the Brett Family, #1 Hits of the 60s, Clay Cooper, Barbara Fairchild, Allen Edwards, Wade Landry, Doug Gabriel and the cast of Country Tonite (a video from their recent trip to visit troops in Iraq will be shown). Tom Mullica returns as emcee. Ambrus Presley will present the national anthem. Pastor Don Brezavar of Branson’s Church of the Harvest will bring the invocation and the Branson VVA will provide the color guard.
Tickets are only $10 for Adults; and $5 for children.
