- The park opens at 9 am today, which is the same date and time it opened 50 years ago! Attend the special opening ceremony
- High Noon Birthday Party at Echo Hollow - special visit by Missouri Governor Jay Nixon and US Congressman Roy Blunt, special performances by The Baldknobbers, The Haygoods, The Lennon Sisters, The Blues Brothers from Legend's In Concert and more, plus you get a piece of the Silver Dollar City Official Birthday Cake - Chocolate RiverBlast Raspberry Cake!

The Princess Tea Party is hosted by one of the Titanic's First-Class Maids who guides you through an English Tea Ceremony. Here's your chance to introduce your little princess to etiquette rules, proper manners, place setting protocol, pouring techniques and refined behavior. Be part of the Grand Country Indoor Mini-Golf Tournament!
Six games on April 24, 2010 starting at 9:00 a.m.
There is a $1000 Grand Prize!
The tournament is open to everyone and all ages and is endorsed by the US ProMiniGolf Association.
The $40 pre-registration includes: tournament, free practice rounds (during prior week), tournament hat, and a show ticket good for any show at Grand Country Music Hall.
Registration deadline is April 23, 2010.
Competitors also receive a discounted stay at Grand Country Inn, which includes FREE admission to Splash Country Indoor Waterpark.

Although not grammatically correct, Elvii is a plural of Elvis...and they're coming back to Branson.
Legends in Concert has announced the return of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest at the Dick Clark American Bandstand Theater in Branson, MO April 17, 2010 at 7 pm. The Branson contest is one of only a select few (only about 20) tribute competitions around the world sanctioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. The winner of the Legends Theater contest in Branson will receive a $1,000 prize and a spot in The 2010 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest finals presented by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. in Memphis during the annual Elvis Week, August 10-16, 2010. Contest tickets are $25 for preferred seating and $20 for general admission seating. Tickets can be purchased at the Legends in Concert box office or by calling 800-374-SHOW.
There's one day only to see The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest at the Legends Family Theater in Branson, but the event is a 3-day festival! Tell every Elvis fan you know!

World-Fest, April 8 - May 9, 2010:
World-Fest marks the official opening of Silver Dollar City's regular season on April 8, 2010. It's America's largest international festival, presenting incredible entertainment from around the globe. Performers from six continents present new and unique shows and productions - never before presented in the United States. Open Wednesdays through Sundays. Festival highlights include:
- NEW! Fiery Fiddles - a production featuring the world's only soaring strings aerialist Janice Martin, and Nova Scotia's premier fiddler Jennifer Roland. Janice Martin is known as "The World's Only Flying Fiddler." She astounds audiences with her gravity-defying performances. This new show also features award-winning country fiddler Dean Church, a 6-piece live band and an emcee from the Emerald Isle, Robin Slater. There will be photo opportunities, a buffet meal and a special memento of the evening to take with you. It's at the new Branson Convention Center, and admission is with a ticket only. Kids age 11 and under can participate in a park-wide Easter Egg Hunt! Colorful eggs will be hidden in easy-to-find places, and golden eggs have a treat inside. Turn in your found eggs at 3 pm at the Gazebo in the Town Square and there'll be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Get your Easter Egg Bag from the Easter Bunny or a SDC street character.
