Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, The Musical

Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, The MusicalNow appearing at the Branson Star Theatre, 3750 W Highway 76 (behind Olive Garden on Highway 76)

Set at a Catskills resort in 1960, this is the sweetly comic story of Lois and Marge, two friends from Brooklyn, in search of good times and romance over one wild Labor Day weekend.

Marge has just been dumped at the alter, and her friend Lois decides they should go ahead and take Marge's honeymoon at the Catskills to cheer her up.

That's where they meet all kinds of colorful characters...and eventually everyone falls in love.

It's a fun, nostalgic story that uses Sedaka hits to tell the story. The audience has a great toe-tapping time, singing along through the whole show. It's songs that everyone knows! Definitely a show for the whole family...adults and kids will love it. Everything is live - the music and the singing.

The score showcases 18 Neil Sedaka classics, including "Where the Boys Are", "Sweet Sixteen", "Calendar Girl", and, of course, the chart-topping title song "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do."
