Elvis In The Morning! The Owen's Theatre is Branson's first theater, built in 1935 by former Branson Mayor Jim Owen. It is now (and has been for the past 14 years) the home of Elvis and the Superstars and 7 other shows. The theater's 200 seats have been replaced, but its rustic rock walls, "A-frame" cathedral ceiling and Fireplace Room Lobby are still there for a perfect blend of "old" and "new." Take a break from "Jailhouse Rock" and "Hound Dog" to enjoy the easy listening side of "The King." Dave "Elvis" Elhert, one of the world's top Elvis performers sings the great country, gospel and movie songs that Elvis loved. You'll hear songs like "She Thinks I Still Care," "Welcome To My World," "For The Good Times" and many more. Dave's full, rich voice is often mistaken for the real Elvis. He's been performing as Elvis for over 40 years. Many ladies are serenaded right in their seats as Dave goes out into the audience and presents them with a silk "Elvis" scarf as a keepsake. This show also includes several of Elvis's Gospel songs. Perfect for any Elvis fan! Breakfast is included free with admission. The show runs March 3 through December 29th, 2008; Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Breakfast at 9:30 am and the show starts at 10:30 am. |
