Allen Family Simply Christmas Show

Allen Family Simply Christmas Show

At the Circle B Chuckwagon Theatre, 200 Jess Jo Parkway (across Highway 76 from the Grand Palace).

The Circle B Chuckwagon Theatre is located in the redecorated restaurant that was formerly the Dinner Bell Restaurant right on "The Strip" (Highway 76). It's an air-conditioned, yet rustic, chuckwagon supper and cowboy music venue. The Riders of the Circle B (formerly called the Circle B Chuckwagon Supper & Cowboy Music Show) perform, and in 2009 there are more shows featured at the theater.

In November and December 2009, The Allen Family Simply Christmas Show returns for its 3rd Branson season. The Allen Family consists of mom and dad (Todd and Michelle) and their 8 children: Caleb, Gabrielle, Joshua, Jared, Danielle, Abigail, Zachariah, and Christian. They live in their bus 365 days a year and fill over 275 engagements each year...making Branson part of their itinerary during the holiday season. They've been traveling across North America for 13 years performing their ministries.

The Simply Christmas Show is a journey through Christmases past presenting the real meaning of Christmas. The Allens take the audience through time to Christmas celebrations at various periods in history. Hear Victorian England Christmas Carolers; see Santa and his reindeer and hear the true story of St. Nick; learn how early American slaves celebrated Christmas; watch a Broadway-style Christmas song and witness a hilarious re-enactment of the nativity.

There are lots of costumes, comedy and, of course, children that make this Christmas program one that will be remembered for many years to come.

Doors open for all performances 30 minutes before showtime. Pre-show begins 15 minutes before the show.

The Sunday 2 pm show is a Sunday Gospel Sing with The Allen Family. Admission is free on  Sundays, with donations accepted.

Shows are November 2 through December 24, 2009.
