Andy Williams & The Entertainers

Andy Williams & The EntertainersNew for the 2008 season, Andy Williams & The Entertainers runs from April 4 through May 24 at the beautiful Andy Williams Moon River Theatre, 2500 W. Highway 76.

Individually, the performers in this show are great, but together their talents combine for an unforgettable show. All 11 cast members either have performed or are currently performing in other shows in the Branson area. Put these artists onstage with Andy Williams and his golden voice and this is the show that will make your entire trip to Branson all worth it.

You will hear a few country songs, but this is a show for the Branson visitor who is not just a country fan. You'll hear a wide variety of music, like Phantom of the Opera, Motown, Patriotic Tributes, songs made popular by Linda Ronstadt ("Blue Bayou"), Whitney Houston ("I Will Always Love You"), Judy Garland ("Somewhere Over The Rainbow"), Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Charles, the Righteous Brothers, Jerry Reed ("East Bound and Down" from "Smokey and the Bandit")...there's even classical with "Gypsy" and "Czardus."

Meet the cast: Paul Dietrich-keyboard and vocals; Bucky Heard-vocals; Donna Falterman-vocals; Jackie Brown-vocals; Cody Titus-piano; Paul & Jeff Donachy-bass & vocals; Steve Harbour-guitar, banjo & vocals; Dean Church-violin & fiddle; Paul VonAdam-trumpet; Brent Vaughn-saxophone; Buddy Burr-drums. And, of course, Andy Williams and the voice you'll always recognize.

Andy and The Entertainers perform together in April and May 2008, and then June through December The Entertainers perform their own morning show at The Andy Williams Moon River Theatre at 10 am Monday through Saturday.

Joining Andy Williams in June and July, the lovely Ann-Margret returns to the Andy Williams Theatre.

It all changes to The Andy Williams All-Star Variety Show in September and October where up to 6 spectacular variety acts are highlighted. It's a show that will bring back memories of Andy's television days.

Of course, the 2008 season is topped-off with The Andy Williams Christmas Show in November and December.

If you're feeling hungry before or after the show, you can visit the Andy Williams Moon River Grill, located right next door to the theater. The decor includes paintings from Andy's personal art collection as well as Andy's gold records. The menu includes some of Andy's mother's recipes, with tasty home-style treats like meatloaf, pot pies and rhubarb shortcake.

Andy Williams and The Entertainers runs April 4 through May 24, 2008, Monday through Saturday at 7 pm. There will be no show May 19th because Andy will be in California receiving the "Ella Award" for his humanitarian efforts.
