Branson Brothers At the Americana Theater (former home of Country Tonite) across from the Presley's, 2905 W Highway 76.The Branson Brothers Show has some new and returning cast members for the 2008 season. Returning are veteran Jimmy Ponder, founder and original member of the group; Dee Allen, son of Duane Allen of the Oak Ridge Boys; Also returning are the beautiful and talented ladies of the show, Diana Ponder and Natalie Nicole. In addition, Perry Edenburn, longtime Branson comedian from the Presley's, The Delene Show and Down Home Country Show, will be adding his hilarious comedy to the lineup for the 2008 season. Perry's character "Harley Worthit" will be delivering some of the funniest antics anywhere. New members for this season include David Ponder, Joy Anderson and Seth Dillehay. David Ponder has been in the music business since the age of 12. He started on the stages of Las Vegas at age 18 and even performed on the Merv Griffin Show and the Mike Douglas Show. Seth has performed with the Southern Gospel group, The Stamps Quartet. The Band: Tim Amey - rhythm & lead guitar; Dino Strunk - lead & rhythm guitar; Brad Allen - drums; Lyman Clark - keyboards; Michael T. Hermsmeyer - steel, dobro, mandolin, guitar; and Scott Lancaster - bass guitar. The Branson Brothers Show is at the Americana Theater for their third Branson season. Shows are March 1 through December 20, 2008. Historical Notes: In 2007, The Branson Brothers performed their second Branson season from February 16 through December 22 at the Bart Rockett Theatre, 3600 W Highway 76. Members of the group in 2007: Andre Shepard, who was nominated for vocalist of the year in 2006; a Branson favorite, 2006 Comedian of the year Terry Sanders as "Homer Lee ," Also in the show in 2007 was the phenomenal Doug Gabriel. For the first time in 13 years, Doug joined another cast in an evening show. The Branson Brothers were proud to have this 7-time male vocalist of the year appear on the stage with his awesome voice and energetic stage performance.
