Branson's Dueling Elvis Contest

Branson's Dueling Elvis ContestAt the Historic Owen's Theatre in Downtown Branson, 205 S Commercial Street.

The Owen's Theatre is Branson's first theater, built in 1935 by former Branson Mayor Jim Owen. It is now (and has been for the past 14 years) the home of Elvis and the Superstars and 6 other shows. The theater's 200 seats have been replaced, but its rustic rock walls, "A-frame" cathedral ceiling and Fireplace Room Lobby are still there for a perfect blend of "old" and "new."

Branson's Dueling Elvis Contest is the 4th Saturday of every month from April 25 through December at 2pm. The country's best Elvis performers compete for cash and prizes. Is it another "King" or just another "Joker?" The audience decides! The contest features Elvis performers representing the "Rockabilly Cat" 50's Elvis, the "Superstar in Leather" 60's Elvis, and the "Ultimate Performer" 70's Elvis.

To enter the contest, follow the link below to the Owen's Theatre Website and click on "Contact/Purchase Tickets" on the left-hand side. Just fill out the form and submit.

The show runs April 25 through December 27, 2008; fourth Saturday of each month at 2 pm.
