The Cat's Pajamas is a two-hour show with percussive instrument emulation, tireless energy, classic songs, great entertainment...and now with five-part harmony. Interesting: They finished in the top 10 in the National Oreo Cookie Jingle Competition hosted by Randy Jackson from American Idol. Milestone: The Cat's Pajamas celebrated its 100th Branson show on July 23, 2010. Congrats to the Cats! Awesome accomplishment: Cat's Pajamas appeared on season 3 of NBC's hit a cappella reality show The Sing Off, hosted by Nick Lachey. Air date September 19, 2011. The show featured 16 exceptional a cappella groups from around the country.

Historical notes for Cat's Pajamas: David Stills (Rock Solid Lead) departed the group in 2010. He was replaced by Marcus Terell & Chris Chatham, making the Cat's Pajamas a 5-man band. Also former members, Grant Hendrickson – Smooth, like peanut butter, Baritone, Marcus Terell – watch him here on 2009 America's Got Talent (he made the top 40) & Chris Chatham – a cappella extraordinaire from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. Previously appearing at The Dutton Family Theater Complex for their debut 2010 season and the first half of 2011. And appreared at the Branson Mall Music Theater, 2206 W Highway 76 for the second half of 2011. Previous member Zakk Wooten – Baritone. Graduate of University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2006. Certified music teacher with a passion for music education. Previous member Chris Rossi – soulful lead tenor vocals. Trained in vocal percussion by Jeff Thacher of Rockapella, widely known as the best "beat boxer" in the world. Chris was also the 1st runner-up in 2010 for the open tenor position of Rockapella, the #1 vocal band in the world. |
