Christmas On The Trail Dinner Show

Christmas On The Trail Dinner Show

At The Pavilion Theatre at the Shepherd of the Hills, 5586 W Highway 76.

Enjoy a hearty Christmas dinner served straight off of a vintage 1800's chuckwagon. You'll "Cowboy Up" to a big, hot, rib-stickin' bowl of 3-bean Trail chili, a big ladle of Cookie's Sparklin' dutch-oven Taters, a cowboy-sized cut of mouth waterin', slow-smoked sausage, a whole flame-roasted ear of corn, a Texas-size slab of cornbread with honey butter, and a big bowl of fresh-made dutch-oven bread puddin' made right over the campfire, along with a hot cup of cowboy coffee.

Just as the name implies, this show is about Christmas on the Trail. You'll sing along and share a Cowboy Christmas, complete with your favorite Christmas Carols and a special time of reflection on the true meaning of the Christmas Season.

Gather around the campfire, to create a Christmas memory complete with familiar carols and unique cowboy reflections. Then enjoy the 19-year Heritage of Holiday Magic, the Trail of Lights. As you drive through this 2-1/2 mile display of lights, sound, and motion, you'll see millions of multi-colored Christmas lights and themed, animated displays, winding through the 160-acre Shepherd of the Hills Homestead. Included in the Trail is a trip up the area's largest Christmas Tree - the 230-foot Inspiration Tower - for a Santa's-eye view of the Trail of Lights and a complimentary cup of coffee, hot-chocolate, or spiced cider.

Seating begins at 5 pm, and the dinner bell rings at 5:30 pm; Monday through Saturday in November and December, 2009.
