Gene Watson

Gene Watson
This show is no longer active

At the God and Country Theatre, 1840 W. Highway 76. Located on the strip in Branson, next to Applebee's Restaurant.

One Branson show only for country singer Gene Watson on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 4 pm.

Gene Watson is famous for his hits "Love In The Hot Afternoon," "Fourteen Carat Mind," "Where Love Begins," "Paper Rosie," "Should I Go Home (or Should I Go Crazy)," "Nothing Sure Looked Good On You" and his signature hit from 1979 called "Farewell Party."

His latest album, "In A Perfect World," was released in 2007 and is considered to be one of the Top 10 Country Albums of the Year for 2007. (CMT critics Craig Shelburne and Ed Morris list Gene's album "In A Perfect World" in their BEST OF 2007 TOP TEN LIST)

Stick around for autographs after the show.

The newly remodeled God and Country Theatre is the place to see popular artists in a cozy setting. There are only 400 seats...and they're the comfortable movie-style seats.

This is also one of the few Branson theaters that allows you to take pictures during any of the shows (still photos only; no audio or video).

Historical notes for Gene Watson: His last performance at The God & Country Theatre was Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 4 pm (this show was a sell-out!). He also performed with Merle Haggard at The Tri Lakes Center on June 11, 2009 at 7:30 pm.
