Hughes Brothers Show At The Hughes Brothers Celebrity Theatre, 3425 W Highway 76. When the Hughes Brothers say they're a "family show," they mean it--a family of five brothers, five wives, their children (20, at last count!), Grandma and Grandpa. The multi-talented brothers star with rich, tight harmonies, synchronized dancing, and lively instrumentals on a wide variety of music, as wives and children join in the fun. The Brothers' Branson Entertainment Awards include the Tradition Award, Best Morning Show, and Best Vocal Group. It all happens mornings--and some evenings--at the Hughes Brothers Celebrity Theatre. Historical notes: In 2007, The Best of Motown was at The Hughes Brothers Celebrity Theatre, 3425 W Highway 76. LIVE and ONSTAGE...the sounds of one of the most influential periods in music history. The Best of Motown is a high-energy musical journey through the hits of the great Motown artists such as Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Lou Rawls, The Four Tops, Stevie Wonder, and many others. Last year, The Best of Motown could be seen at many of the main outdoor events at the new Branson Landing. The show is comprised of Kirk Hunter, singer, songwriter, dancer and arranger from Detroit, Michigan, performing for over 30 years; Ditannual "Doc" Hutchinson, performing and singing since age 7, born in Detroit, Michigan; and "DJ" Dicki Jonez who began singing at the age of 3, and can sing any style of music from rock to country, R & B to Blues, from jazz to the 50's, and many classic standards all the way to today's music. These three have revamped their image and their show, now performing to rave reviews as The Best of Motown. Shows for The Best of Motown were at 2 or 5pm, Tuesday through Saturday in 2007. |
