Joey Riley Comedy & Music Revue![]() At the Mickey Gilley Theatre, 3455 W Highway 76. After being a valuable part of the Mickey Gilley Show for over a decade (since 1993), Joey Riley started headlining his own show in 2004 - now in his 7th Branson season. His show is at 2 pm in the afternoons, which leaves him open to continue in Mickey's show, too. Comedian, singer and fiddle player, Joey has put together a two-hour show that's a must-see for any country music fan. He's got "The Get R Done Band" featuring brother Scott Riley playing bass guitar and showing off his vocal talents and the beautiful Melody Hart, who sings a great country song. The rest of the band, incredibly talented musicians, is made up of Norman Carlson, Saxophone, Keyboards & Vocals; Tony Carson, Piano & Vocals; Chuck Landry, Drums; and Gary Myers, Master of Ceremonies and Guitar. Newest members of the show include Joey's wife Kelli Roberts Riley and her dance partner Mike Bliss. Mike was a finalist on NBC's America's Got Talent, and you'll be amazed by his juggling and magic, too! Joey and the band will take you on a musical journey as they pay tribute to the country music legends that have influenced them - country greats such as George Jones, Willie Nelson, Little Jimmy Dickens, Johnny Cash, John Anderson, Charlie Daniels, Roy Acuff & many more. Joey also does a fun tribute to Cajun & Zydeco music in the second half of the show that gets the audience snappin', clappin' and a tappin' - and participatin'. A little "Dancin' With The Stars," anyone? Joey's finesse on the fiddle and many other instruments, including the accordion, is just fantastic. You'll hear "Orange Blossom Special" and "The Devil Went Down To Georgia." The show pays special tribute to the nation's veterans and Joey includes a memorable patriotic number as well. Joey is well-known for his hilarious comedy and good-natured goofiness. He'll be doing his show at the Mickey Gilley Theatre April 19 through December 4, 2010.
