The Keatings - A Father and Son Musical Experience
2nd Branson season in 2010!
Bringing a new element to the Branson stage, the powerful voices of father and son Ken and Josh Keating made their Branson debut in the summer of 2009 in the Crystal Show Room at the Branson Star Theatre.
Ken Keating's tenor has been compared to early Johnny Mathis or a mature Josh Groban. He got his start as a Las Vegas teenager, playing in a group on weekends at clubs on the Las Vegas strip. When he auditioned for The Liberace Foundation, he was awarded two scholarships - one for piano and one for voice. His life took a turn, for the security and comfort of his family, to corporate America. But now, Ken has returned to his music...with his son!
Josh Keating, now 19, began performing on Las Vegas stages at the age of 11. When he was 14, he participated in the 2005 Andre Agassi Grand Slam To Stardom competition. Josh made it to the final 3!
This father and son team present music from pop to Broadway, rock 'n roll to gospel, country to opera...and everything in-between. You'll be amazed by this duo's combination of powerful voices.
Ken Keating released his debut cd in 2005, Just One Lifetime. You can listen to parts of each song on the album on iTunes (just go to the iTunes Store and put Just One Lifetime in the search box).
