Mark Lowry In Concert 2009This show is no longer active At the Tri Lakes Center, 2527 State Highway 248 (The Tri Lakes Center was the Mel Tillis Theater from 1994-2002) Christian comedian, singer and songwriter Mark Lowry makes a few stops right here in Branson as he tours the United States performing his music and comedy concerts. He is a former member of the Gaither Vocal Band. He was the baritone...and, of course, the group funny-man. After 13 years with the group, Lowry resigned to continue his own projects and concert tours. You may know him best from the Christmas song he wrote in 1984 called "Mary, Did You Know." It has been recorded by over 30 artists, including Reba McEntire, Michael Crawford, Natalie Cole, Donny Osmond, the Von Trapp Children, Tony Orlando and duet version recorded by Wynonna Judd and Kenny Rogers in 1997. Mark Lowry himself recorded his version of the song on his own albums. You can watch him perform "Mary, Did You Know" on youtube.com, just click here. He is on his "Be The Miracle" Tour with LordSong and special guest Christian piano artist Stan Whitmire. Shows are November 30 & December 1 & 2, 2009 at 2:00 pm.
