New South Gospel Show![]() Now appearing at The Grand Country Music Hall, 1945 W Highway 76. The New South Gospel Show returns in 2013 for its 4th season! Wow! Southern Gospel fans rejoice – this new show is a 2-hour Southern Gospel extravaganza! Branson's best quartet, New South, sings all your favorites from the early roots of Southern Gospel to the hand-clappin' gospel hits of today. From the songs of the Jordanaires (a group formed in 1948 in Springfield, MO) to Bill Gaither, this show will leave you feeling as if you're walking 2-inches above the pavement, not on it! In addition to New South, pianist extraordinaire Tracy Heaston (former member of The Crownsmen) will amaze you with his signature flair on the piano. Jackie Brown, Jim Dandy and the award-winning Grand Band are also featured in this gospel showcase. The New South Gospel Quartet released their newest Gospel CD, One More River To Cross, on March 22, 2012. Also in 2012, a special pre-opening show was held Thursday, March 22. Tickets were only $10 each and all admission proceeds went to Ozarks Honor Flight, which helps WWII Veterans fly to Washington DC to see their memorial. If you love gospel, this is definitely the show for you – fast-paced and full of talent! The Grand Country Complex has been in Branson since 1971. It used to be called the 76 Music Mall Complex before changing its name to Grand Country. The New South Gospel Show is performed every Thursday at 3:00 pm; March 28 through December 19, 2013.
