Noah, The Musical

At the Sight & Sound Theatre, 1001 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway (intersection of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Expressway Lane). Entrances are off of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Gretna Road.

This season, 2011, is the 4th and FINAL season for Noah, The Musical in Branson. It will be replaced by Joseph in April of 2012.

Noah, The Musical was introduced to the Branson music scene on May 24, 2008. Now in its 4th banner season, the Sight & Sound Theatre features Noah, The Musical through October 15, 2011 and then features the Miracle of Christmas from  November 1 through December 31, 2011.

Noah, The Musical:

After God reveals to the righteous Noah that a flood will extinguish all life on earth, He charges the man to construct an ark massive enough to shelter his family, any other true believers, and pairs of every species of living creature.

Lacking materials, Noah takes his three sons to Nod, a city in decline. The family tries in vain to convince their friends and neighbors to join them, and are ridiculed and attacked throughout the decades it takes them to fulfill God's command.

Watch Noah and his family try to care not only for themselves while at sea, but for their vast menagerie as well. Experience their stress at being cooped up together for more than a year.

When their trying journey is finally complete, marvel at the wonder of God's reward for Noah's unquestioning obedience and devotion to Him.

Features of the theater and show include: a 300-foot wraparound stage with 40-foot high sets, a cast of 50 actors, elaborate costumes, breathtaking special effects, and hundreds of live and animatronic animals.

This 2 1/2 hour production runs March 26 through October 15, 2011.

There is also a Behind The Scenes Tour of the Sight & Sound Theatre from April 5 - December 22, 2011. NEW! The tours are FREE this year. You do still need to make a reservation for the tour because space is limited.
