Penny Gilley Show with Jeff BrandtThe Penny Gilley Show with Jeff Brandt and the RFD-TV All Star Band opens October 5th, 2007 with a new 90-minute show at the RFD-TV The Theatre. Known as the "Sweetheart of Country Music," Penny is a true country classic singer. So get ready for a lot of Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette and Barbara Mandrell. Her true love for our veterans and military men and women is apparent with every performance. Her hit "The Line Drawn In The Sand" was performed for the homecoming celebration of Desert Storm. Penny likes to make the audience of every show feel like her second family. She is renowned for staying late to meet fans, sign autographs or just sit and talk. She will often be the last one to leave the theater. The Penny Gilley Show also features impersonator Jeff Brandt. Brandt, who was the opening act for Wayne Newton for 13 years, has a deep bag of tricks to bring to the party with his dead-on impersonations of hundreds of favorite singers like Elvis, Conway Twitty, Tom Jones and Willie Nelson. The Penny Gilley Show is scheduled to perform through December 9th on Fridays at 7 pm; Saturdays at 3 & 7 pm; and Sundays at 7 pm. Penny also does a weekly television show every Monday at 9 pm Eastern (8 pm Central) on RFD-TV (DishNetwork channel 231, DirectTV channel 379, 200+ cable networks) To answer the "million-dollar-question," Penny Gilley is not related to the other famous Gilley in Branson, Mickey Gilley. Historical Notes: The RFD-TV Theatre had the following shows in 2007: The Beach Boys It's fun, fun, fun when the Beach Boys roll into town. Rock 'n Roll, surf music, girls, cars and their distinctive vocal harmonies are what come to mind with this group. Their hit songs, albums and awards are numerous, and they're still going strong after 40 years of performing (with an astoundingly busy schedule of concerts, too). Musical styles and some members have changed, but America's love for their music remains constant. Too many to list, favorites include "Surfin'," "Fun, Fun, Fun," "I Get Around," "Help Me Rhonda," "California Girls," the Grammy-nominated "Good Vibrations" and the irresistible and chart-topping "Kokomo." The Beach Boys were at the RFD-TV Theatre performing at 7 pm July 2-5 and July 25-29, 2007. The Big Joe Polka Festival Come and enjoy 24 bands over 6 days taped for RFD-TV.
