Update on Tom's health: Tom Mullica fell ill while touring in January 2010 during the Branson Winter season. After seeing his doctor, he was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (blood and bone marrow cancer). On February 17, 2010 he was admitted to the Cancer Ward of the Cox Medical Center, Springfield, MO where he underwent high level chemotherapy (30 days). He then went home and continued with the chemotherapy with five days of treatment per month for four months. Tom is much better; he had a stem-cell transplant in July 2010 & he will be monitored closely for the next 5 years for signs of rejection. His March 2010 opening at The Mansion had to be cancelled, but he was back at The Mansion in 2011 & 2012 getting stronger every day!
