Ricky Boen & Texas Mud![]() At the Hamner Barber Theatre, 3090 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway (just down from the Shoji Tabuchi Theatre). If you're looking for real, honest-to-goodness, western swing music, then Ricky Boen and Texas Mud is the perfect ticket for the entire family! World Champion Fiddler Ricky Boen and his "Western Swing Group of the Year" Texas Mud present the hottest morning show in Branson. It's Texas Swing done right...music driven primarily by the string sound with fiddles, steel guitar and guitars. And Texas Swing means, of course, Twin Fiddles! Incredible twin fiddles, harmonized vocals, gut-busting comedy as well as the incredible vocals of 12-year-old singing sensation Brooke Hale. The laughs are compliments of Branson's newest female comedian "IdaClare." Ricky and the boys are never quite sure what she'll be up to next! Besides the amazing fiddling of Ricky Boen, Texas Mud has an incredibly talented group of players, with Mark Boyd on guitar and vocals, Ricky's dad, Darrell Boen also on vocals and guitar, Casey Robertson keeps the beat on drums, Mark Abbott on upright bass and vocals, and Dave Musgrave rounding out that Texas Swing sound on the steel guitar. The other "half" of the twin fiddles is Mark Pearman. Don't miss this talented group of musicians who bring exciting Texas culture to the Ozarks! This year, 2010, marks their 6th season in Branson and their fourth season at the Hamner Barber Theater. It's the best way to start your day, and with a bonus...the coffee is always free!
