Shanghai Puppet Troupe
 Now appearing at the New Shanghai Theatre, 645 State Highway 165, just south of Hwy 76 between The Ain't Misbehaving Theatre and Coffelt Country.
Presented just for the summer, MuOu - The Chinese Puppet Show features the traditional Chinese performance art of rod puppets and shadow characters. The adventures of the Monkey King, a traditional Chinese tale, teaches universal values of devotion, strength, friendship and morals. Also presented is the Concerto in Spring, reminiscent of Disney's Fantasia, with puppets like swallows, umbrellas, a peacock, a girl, an angel and more. It's a fantastic display of puppet art by the Shanghai Puppet Theater, established in 1960.
