Sons of the Pioneers Chuckwagon Dinner Show
 At the Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Theatre, 5586 W Highway 76.
The legendary Sons of the Pioneers, the longest continuously performing group of all time, are back by popular demand for their fourth season at The Shepherd of the Hills Pavilion Theatre.
This American cowboy singing group was founded in 1933 by the one-and-only Roy Rogers. The group was designated "National Treasures" by the Smithsonian Institute in 1977.
During their 74-year existence, the Sons have recorded 57 albums and appeared in 98 films.
Their Branson show will surprise anyone seeing them for the first time because not only do they perform all of their heart-tugging western classics, but when they set down the guitars and fiddles and pick up the sax, trombone, and trumpet, they play terrific western swing, swing, ragtime, jazz, dixieland, gospel and big band music.
Enjoy the Sons' beautiful western harmonies, signature hits like "Cool Water" (their song that resides in the Grammy Hall of Fame) and "Tumbling Tumbleweeds," and a hearty cowboy feast served straight off an authentic Chuckwagon.
Dinner will be served during the performance. The menu includes: barbecue beef, roast chicken, red beans, cole slaw, baked apples, hot roasted ear of corn right off the grill, cornbread, campfire cobbler, and beverage. Delicious!
The dinner bell rings at 4:15 pm. The Pavilion Theatre is near the main entrance to The Shepherd of the Hills. The theatre is open-air, covered and protected from the weather.
