This year, 2012, is Yakov's 20th Branson season; and it will be his final full season in Branson. Yakov will tour the country in 2013 with his stand-up comedy show, Happily Ever Laughter. The Brady Lunch returns to his theater in 2012. Yakov will still call Branson home and be involved in the community and his theater.
Back for its 4th Branson season (2012), Yakov's Dinner Adventure returns – bigger and better than ever:
- Yakov's Dinner Adventure is the highly-acclaimed production spectacular that has thrilled audiences the past three years ( previously called the Yakov Moscow Circus Dinner Experience)
- It's a Dinner Show – Adult menu includes smoked beef brisket, Chicken a la Yakov (grilled chicken breast), vegetable medley, yukon gold mashed potatoes, creamy country soup, a sweet corn muffin and bottle of water. For dessert, Strawberry Shortcake. Kids meal, the Yak in the Box, includes hot dog, potato chips, fruit cup, bottle of water and Strawberry Shortcake.
In Russia, the circus is regarded as an art form that's right up there with ballet and opera. It's where highly skilled and creative artists showcase their talent. Branson is lucky to have its own Ukrainian-born entertainer Yakov Smirnoff put together a showcase of this important part of Russia's cultural heritage.
The new 2012 show continues the circus tradition and is committed to the performing arts, while still being full of surprises.
Yakov's Dinner Adventure is a unique blend of superb artistry, mad-cap antics, romantic comedy, magical family chemistry, and outright fun! Look for Russian pageantry, ballet and dancing, hilarious comedy and entertaining acrobatics. This original production is guaranteed to tickle your funnybone and tug at your heartstrings! From the moment you enter the theater you are swept up in the action and excitement as a cast of extraordinary performers surprise and astonish you with their amazing talents. This enchanting story of love, courage and power will keep you on the edge of your seat while creating a memory your family will never forget.
