Theatre, 470 State Highway 248 (at the corner of Highway 248 and Highway 65; it's the first theater as you arrive in Branson from the North on Hwy. 65). In Russia, the circus is regarded as an art form that's right up there with ballet and opera. It's where highly skilled and creative artists showcase their talent. Branson is lucky to have its own Ukrainian-born entertainer, Yakov Smirnoff, put together this show to showcase this important part of Russia's cultural heritage. Join the circus and have fun with Andrei the Clown, Irina Markova and her award-winning canine troupes and their feline friends, Pavlina Gyumisheva the Human Slinky, Igor & Denis "The Strongmen of Moscow", Flying Adagio star Marina the Ballerina, the National Unicycling Champion Anthony Soumiatin, Russian Dancers, Alena Oulianova the Fire Eater, Boris the Wonder Dog, and more! Romance is in the air and zany adventure ensues as Andrei the Clown searches for his lovely Marina the Ballerina. Yakov’s Moscow Circus features Mishka the Russian Bears for a limited engagement through July 5, 2009. Shows are at 3 or 8 pm; June 2 through September 7, 2009.
