Merriam-Webster says a
hootenanny is a
gathering at which folksingers entertain, often with the audience joining in. Now that you know
what it is, you need to know
where and
when it is...because it sounds like a
great time for a
great cause. It's the
1st Annual Benefit Concert & Hootenanny for Jacob's House at Thunder Ranch. When? This weekend,
Saturday and Sunday, November 22 & 23. The Saturday happenings are
at Thunder Ranch from noon to 4 pm; the Sunday Benefit Concert is at the
Little Opry Theatre at the
Ozarks Discovery IMAX Complex from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. Click
here for the full list of activities on each day. We hope you can make it to one or both of the
gatherings; it'll be lots of fun for the whole family...while
helping children in need. (
