When you're packing your bags for Branson, don’t forget your camera and video camera. You’ll want photographs and video clips to show off to everyone back home. There's plenty of photo opportunities...from spectacular scenery to unique landmarks. And someone is always nearby to help you get a picture with you in the shot.
We recommend calling the shows you're attending and asking about their still photography and video & audio recording policy. Each show sets their own rules.
Here are some of the answers you'll get:
- Still photography cameras are allowed; no video cameras or audio recordings are allowed.
- Cameras and video cameras allowed on premises, but not during the performance.
- They are allowed, but not during the show.
- They are not allowed in the theater; but are permitted in the lobby before or after the show.
- Cameras only are permitted.
- Cameras permitted; but no flash photography during the show.
- and, occasionally, you'll get: YES! Cameras and video cameras are allowed.
The
majority of Branson shows ask that you
don't use flash photography during the performances for obvious safety reasons. Be sure to
bring the cameras with you, though, because there are many shows where you'll have the
opportunity to get a picture with the stars and/or the cast in the lobby after the show.
