Time to remember Dick Clark...

Time to remember Dick Clark...

It's time to remember entertainment legend Dick Clark. He passed from the scene on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 after a heart attack. He was 82.

To honor his memory, there are many things you can do in Branson:

  • Visit the only theater in the world that bears his name, the Dick Clark American Bandstand Theater in Branson. It was originally built by one of Dick Clark's companies in 2006. The theater got a new owner in 2011, Jim D. Morris. Although it was severely damaged by the Leap Day Tornado, the theater repairs and reconstruction went quickly and it reopened, better than before, on April 14, 2012
  • Stop in and leave flowers by the theater in memory of Dick Clark
  • See the Legends show at Dick Clark's Theater. It's featuring a special tribute to Dick Clark during the show
  • See any Branson show. It's all about the music!

All of us at BransonWorld join you in remembering Dick Clark. His love of music and entertainment will continue to inspire generations to come...

So long, Dick Clark. We'll miss you.
