Yakov Smirnoff has a
new show, and you
don't even need tickets for it. You'll probably just need a
recliner, a
warm blanket and the
remote control. His new show is a
tv pilot for his new talk show called
Love & Laughter. It airs on
KY-3 TV on
Saturday, November 22 at 9 pm CST (and airs again on Sunday, November 23 at 1 pm). This first show has some
interesting guests: Branson's own ventriloquist & comedian
Jim Barber and his wife
Diane; author
Willard Harley who wrote
His Needs, Her Needs; and
Ray & Irma Ziff, a couple who have been
married for 75 years. Yakov calls his show a "cross between
Dr. Phil and
Ellen where it's
a lot of entertainment, and
a little bit of information, so you can
learn &
laugh your
Yak-Off." It's a
new type of talk show that focuses on the important role that
laughter plays in a
healthy relationship. Tune in and see what you think.
Love & Laughter shows in place of
Law & Order for that night, but
Law & Order returns the following weekend.
