Here are a few places for the kids—and the kid in you—to play.
Pick from 2 18-hole mini-courses at Pirate’s Cove Adventures Golf & Games (417-336-6606). The Captain’s Course has gradual hills, and Blackbeard’s Challenge features more challenging holes. There’s a video arcade, too.
Activities at the Thunder Road Amusement Center (417-334-5905) include 2 18-hole mini-golf courses, Gyro-Orbiter, Bungee Trampoline, game room, bumper cars, batting cages and race track.
Mini-golf, bumper boats, go-karts and arcade rooms can be found at any of The Track’s multiple locations on the Strip. Each one has a different theme.
Mini-golf can be played in any kind of weather at the Grand Country Resort (formerly The 76 Mall, 800-828-9068) because the 36-hole course is all indoors. Putt your way through a 40-foot waterfall and an old mill stream. The mall also has a video arcade, 3-D Cinema, The 76 Music Hall and over 35,000 square feet of shops full of gifts and souvenirs.
